2013 STROKE CLINICS
Coach Anne is running a series of optional four-day, thirty- or forty-five minutes/day stroke clinics this summer. Each week will cover a different competitive stroke as well as starts and turns. Clinics will begin the week after the public schools are out for summer, June 17. Sign up sheets are posted on the swim team bulletin board downstairs at Woodside. Swimmers can sign up for any week individually or participate in all clinics. Two thirty-minute clinics run back-to-back Monday through Thursday, June 17 - June 20, and cost $25 per swimmer per clinic. A third forty-five minute clinic starts June 24 and runs to June 27 and costs $35 per swimmer per clinic. Payments go directly to Coach Anne.
Remember swimmers cannot attend the first day of a clinic unless they have PAID for the session. It is just too complicated to keep track of who paid what amount when. So, either register and pay beforehand, or send your swimmer to the pool with a check made out to Anne Wind (or cash) on the day of the clinic.
The schedule for the clinics is as follows:
June 17 - 20 (M - Th) ($25 per swimmer)
11:00-11:30, Dives for the Non-diver
11:30-12:00, Flip Turns (free style and backstroke)
June 24 – 27 (M – Th) BREASTSTROKE CLINICS ($35 per swimmer)
11:00-11:45, Breaststroke (Stroke work and pull outs)
11:30-12:00 11 & UP
July 1, 2, 3 & 5 (M, T, W, F) Butterfly ($25 per swimmer)
11:00-11:30 Butterfly (Stroke work)
PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS
You can also arrange for private and semi-private lessons (two swimmers maximum) with any of our Assistant Coaches on an as-needed basis. It is up to you and the coach to work out the time and date, but after the morning swim practice is usually best. Costs are $25 per half hour for private and $40 per half hour for semi-private. Make your payments directly to the Assistant Coach.
